Grass fed beef tallow is the base, a nutrient dense fat naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K that closely mirrors your skin's own composition. Unlike petroleum based balms, tallow absorbs and conditions from the moment you apply it.
No preservatives, and none needed
Water is what allows bacteria to grow in a product. This balm contains none, so it stays fresh on ingredients alone. That isn't a shortcut. It's what an anhydrous formula makes possible.
One tube, three sticks worth
A standard lip balm stick holds 0.15 oz. This tube holds 0.5 oz, more than three times the product, with no stick to wear down unevenly or snap off. Squeeze exactly what you need.
Every ingredient has a purpose
Jojoba is technically a liquid wax that closely mimics your skin's own sebum, so it absorbs without a greasy feel. Candelilla wax gives the balm structure. Beeswax forms a breathable barrier against wind and cold. Calendula calms and soothes. Sunflower oil supplies linoleic acid, which tallow is naturally low in, so the two together give a more complete fatty acid profile than tallow alone. Vitamin E adds antioxidant protection and keeps the oils from going rancid.
How to use
Squeeze a small amount directly onto lips. A little goes a long way, so start with less than you think you need. Reapply as often as you like. There are no actives to overuse. For very dry or cracked lips, apply a thicker layer before bed.
Tallow is a natural fat, so the balm may firm up in the cold and soften in warmth. Warm the tube in your hand for a few seconds if it feels stiff.
